Actual Ground

An exploration of the movement parameters of ground. This work utilized choreography and improvisational scores that investigate the meaning making of movement on different surfaces such as marley flooring and concrete. How do these surfaces change our perceptions of dance? What does land and ground signify for our movement patterns? How do we connect with ground? How do we impose our relationships with ground onto others?
